Russian prosecutors halt several shopping malls on safety issues
MOSCOW, Apr 4 (PRIME) -- Operations of several shopping malls were suspended after fire safety checks made by the prosecutors after a fire in Kemerovo’s shopping center took lives of 64 people, spokesman for the Prosecutor General’s office Alexander Kurennoi told PRIME on Wednesday.
“Work of several shopping malls in various regions of the country were suspended as a result of violations detected during checks conducted after the fire in the Kemerovo shopping center,” Kurennoi said.
